Apple Crisp

(this is my favorite recipe to make with any fruit)

Heat oven to 350.
Spread in ungreased 8 inch square pan:
4 cups of sliced unpeeled or peeled apples

Mix with a fork and sprinkle over the apples:
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup regular oats
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup ( 1 stick) softened butter

Bake about 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender.

Start to finish, about 45 minutes. Serves 6
